Bliss Barracks $7,899,408
$8 million renovation project that entailed lead/asbestos abatement and renovation of administration and housing areas. Value Engineering was critical in this project. MCC provided energy savings and a more cost conscious product.
Laredo County Courthouse $2,220,350
Renovation of an empty area in a historic courthouse into a state of the art facility that includes judge’s chambers, a break area, jury room, and a prisoner-holding cell. The General Services Administration called this $2 million renovation project “Beautiful, prestigious and very attractive.”
San Patricio County Courthouse $899,560
Historical restoration of wood windows, doors, plaster walls and ceilings, cork tile flooring, wood cove base and ceiling mould, millwork, furnishings, and other miscellaneous features. New applications included electrical upgrades, installation of new air handler units and associated ductwork, structural steel mechanical mezzanine, chilled water lines, framing and drywall, fire sprinkler system, sound reinforcement system, rough and finish carpentry, custom casework, stained concrete flooring, vinyl wall covering, window coverings and draperies. In addition, minor demolition, lead and asbestos abatement were included.
Fort Polk Foundry Room $955,922
This project consisted of renovating building 1562 for the OPS group. This renovation was to be done with normal operations on-going while construction was being executed which presented a higher level of difficulty to accomplish the task. There were an additional six modifications to the original task order. Renovation consisted of remodeling the foundry room, install new carpet and ceramic tile in hallways, demolition and installation of several store front doors, remove existing closet doors and install new decorative doors, demolition and installation of new ACT system, installation of service counter in admin office, removal of doors and relocating to different locations and closing walls up, texturing and painting of gypsum in all rooms remodeled. Millwork was all custom built crown molding, chair rail, and base board made of red oak. Foundry room briefing desk / console was custom built in an arch patern with granite tops and equipped with power receptacles, Data / Comm and sound jacks. All work was completed on time and without injury to workers or disruption of the users of the facility.
Renovation for Defense Information Systems Agency $12,721,225
General project description 45,000 square foot renovation of an existing Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) operational data center. The project included the construction of a 10,000 square foot Compartmentalized Information Facility (SCIF) inside the existing operational Data Center. The SCIF construction included but not limited to computer raised access floor, UPS systems, electrical upgrades, sprinkler and gas fire protection systems, critical cooling HVAC systems, secure and sound proof walls and doors, security systems, specialized computer grounding systems, lighting, and new finishes.
Fitness Center Renovation $470,125
MCC renovated approximately 10000sf of existing fitness center space including demolition of walls, floors, ceilings, electrical, and mechanical systems. New work consisted of new masonry and drywall construction, ceramic tile walls and floors, ceilings, electrical, mechanical systems, new gang showers, lockers, benches and toilet partitions. The project was completed in five phases with the fitness center remaining open throughout the duration of the project. MCC had approximately one week to complete preliminary design drawings and develop our estimate. MCC was able to reduce the initial unpriced task order amount by $63,000 by obtaining adequate competitive pricing and ensuring the preliminary design plans covered the scope of work requested by the customer.
Renovate Child Care Area $177,563
Work on this project consisted of installing four storefront type doors in two hallways with all associated hardware, removing a standard toilet and replacing with child toilet, installing an entrance door buzzer to the building entry doors,  renovating the male and female latrines to ADA compliant with new phenolic partitions and new counters. Demolish existing showers in shower room and just leave one shower stall, build walls in shower area to make storage rooms, install kitchen cabinets and counter top in kitchen area, install a half wall and access gate in child care area, install 5 foot coated cyclone fence around outside child play area.
Upgrade Chemistry Labs
MCC renovated approximately 4000 square feet of medical laboratory including asbestos abatement of floors and countertops,  demolition of existing floors, ceilings, light fixtures, casework, plumbing and HVAC. New work consisted of new sheet vinyl flooring, laying acoustic ceilings, lighting, painting of existing walls, and final connections of new medical casework.
Renovate Men’s Restroom $150,852

MCC completely renovated 600 square feet of restrooms at Corpus Christi Army Depot, TX including removal/replacement of ceramic tile finishes, plumbing fixtures, light fixtures, lay-in ceilings, exhaust systems, and toilet accessories. 

Locker Room Renovations $187,793

This project consisted of renovations to the 50 meter pool locker rooms.  Renovations were new paint applications, new benches, ceramic tile in showers and toilet areas, new heaters, new plumbing fixtures, toilet partitions and toilet accessories.

Renovation of Library/Education Center $159,157

Work included drywall partitions, painting systems, plumbing systems, HVAC work, electrical systems and telephone & data systems.

Lecture Hall Renovation $448,863

Demolition of existing interior finishes, seating, and lighting. Construction of new ceiling structure, interior finishes, acoustical treatments, seating, lighting, and high-tech audio visual system for a 130 seat physics lecture hall.

Moorsetown Mall Renovation $89,865

Project consisted of designing and renovation of a 2,400 sf retail space in the Moorsetown Mall for the New Jersey Air National Guard. The space included a storefront, waiting area, recruiting area with work stations, a kitchen, break room and restroom.  The area was designed in coordination with the Air National Guard to highlight their mission and included a large air refueling plane in suspended in the center of the space.

Border Patrol Detainee Facility $748,832

Major scope of work included demolishing existing counter tops, CMU walls and ceilings. The demo work allowed for the construction of new detainee holding cells with automatic/electronically controller hardware- a total of two existing cells were demolished and 2 new holding cells were added with bathroom facilities, and three other holding cells were renovated- repainted with epoxy paint, and benches were refinished. A new 6-ton HVAC unit was installed to ventilate the new cells and the renovated processing area, HVAC work included new duct work and exhaust fans. The processing area work included new clay floor tile to match existing, new hardwood counter trim and new wall caps. The existing fire alarm was modified for the new work. New offices were constructed using detention specifications ( expanded metal and stainless steel lines walls). A new centrally located bulletproof control center was constructed, the control center houses the main head end unit for the automatic door hardware. New suspended ceilings were installed throughout the renovated area to match existing. New gun lockers were installed at the entrance of building.

Lakehurst Dog Kennel $535,123

Renovation of an existing 4,500 sf storage building into a working dog kennel for base security.  The facility consisted of 4 individual dog runs with inside and outside area for each dog, and heated concrete floors in each run. A vetenarians area for examing the dogs, training room, four offices, a lunch room, and bathrooms were also constructed.  The original open fram structure contained no utilities, no conditioned space and had a dirt floor.
