On behalf of the 440th Airlift Wing. US Air Force Reserve, I am pleased to acknowledge a job well done by MCC Construction Corporation in the execution of the recently completed Aircraft Parking Ramp and Taxiway re-construction project. A letter acknowledging completion of a project such as this would not ordinarily be warranted, but considering the unique conditions at GMIAP-ARS and the challenges these presented, I believe this is a worthwhile exception. The project could be successfully accomplished by the most careful and attention to detail, good planning and coordination of multiple concurrent activities between several parties-this was a big responsibility place on a few individuals within the contractor's organization.

The level of service and professionalism on this project was amazing. MCC Construction was able to complete our project 29 days ahead of schedule thus permitting us to continue our training for the War on Terrorism uninterrupted. Additionally, the best aspect of the relationship with DPW and MCC was the communication. The communication was flawless and two sided. If I had the opportunity to select a company for my unit's next construction project it would be MCC. I have personally created and negotiated approximately 70% of the task orders given to [the contractor] within the last 2 years, and am very familiar with their personnel and performance. Their performance has been of such a high level of quality that our customers at both Lackland and Randolph [AFBs] have specifically requested MCC for follow-on task order work.
